TAG Aviation to operate Boeing 757-200ER aircraft for TCS Expeditions
May 20, 2014: TAG Aviation announced that it will operate a bespoke Boeing 757-200ER aircraft for TCS Expeditions for a period of six years beginning January 2015. The aircraft will principally be used to operate on a defined number of trips and additional ad-hoc charters may be considered.
TAG Aviation is currently refitting the Boeing 757-200ER aircraft with a dual configuration, allowing the choice of either 78 or 52-seat configuration for TCS Expeditions guests. The customised interior will feature leather seats, plush carpeting and contemporary lavatories. The aircraft will travel with a dedicated team of experienced crew, including chefs and concierge, and will also be equipped with a state-of-the art Wi-Fi system, including KU-Band satellite communications, enabling in-flight access to web services.
“At TAG Aviation, our focus it to offer bespoke solutions and operational excellence. This innovative project will deliver a high quality product and offer customers an exclusive onboard experience,” said Graham Williamson, president aircraft management and charter services, TAG Aviation Europe. “Working closely with TCS Expeditions has enabled us to customise this new aircraft to meet their specific needs.”
